After leaving college in 2014, Gabe worked in the insurance industry for four years and holds licenses in three states. His subsequent exposure to the reconstruction side of the insurance business led him to becoming a construction project manager in, where he successfully managed multiple projects for another four years.
His interest in the building trades created a desire to know more, how things were put together and how they worked, and he enrolled in the Building Construction Technology school of Mesa College (San Diego).
Gabe can easily read and understand the requirements of a set of plans. He is accustomed to working on projects that require a creative approach and thinking in new ways. He is currently working on a major project for San Diego State's new STEM facility in Brawley, CA, as project inspector
